Director Clive McLean continues to fashion appealing eye candy, all soft lens focus and lush outdoor settings, but when it comes down to tailoring situations and scenarios of a sexual nature, the concepts he embraces are of the "written on the back of a napkin" variety, a phrase once used used by the legendary Bob Chinn to describe the screenplay he wrote for the first Johnny Wadd feature.
What we are presented with here are six Letters to the Editor scenarios. In the opening scene young Kira writes that she's always known she's a lesbian, and she wants to seduce her best gal pal, so she invites Lara over for some sunbathing and ... well, you know where this is going just as you know where cute brunette Roxy's letter is going to end when she pens that she likes to go out to the lake to masturbate. Can you say, "Along comes a fisherman to test her bait"? And then there's Sarah, whose after school pleasure is sitting in the jacuzzi and jacking off to images of her fantasy lover.
All of the scenes are marginally hot and well lensed in typical McLean fashion, but McLean's "Written By" credit seems rather superfluous when one considers that the title provides a name to point a finger at in fixing the blame for the lack of creative imagination at work here.
The box cover, incidentally, proclaims that there is "more anal" in this volume, which must mean that there is no anal whatsoever in subsequent chapters because only one backdoor poking is on display (Michelle and Joey Ray down on the farm).
