Anal Rescue 811 does an interesting and effective job of mirroring the reality-based TV shows that are swamping the networks, while never losing sight that sex makes the viewer happy. It also does a first-rate job of capturing winter in New York, if you happen to enjoy watching people freeze their asses off.

Amid some very smart opening graphics that capture the flavor of the urban sprawl, the show details "true life" episodes of those who answer the cry of anal distress (actually, not in all of the episodes). Now, wouldn't you like to be on the payroll?

Host Rick Savage does his level best to sound like William Shatner but, physically, looks more like Sigmund Freud with his fullface foliage. A couple of segments are absolute stand-outs, one featuring Savage with the "where has she been" Kristarrah Knight; the other, a clever take on gym fantasies featuring capable new guy Ron Hightower with another newcomer, Athena.

The new and improved Bunny Bleu appears in a girl-girl scene with Brittany Saks that has its moments. Bunny gets her backdoor prepped by brittany for her later "anal date" with Jay Street, who kind of reminds you of Neil Sedaka with a relative hard-on.

Showing some thought and creativity in the process, director Savage (the real Rick Savage) continues to turn out first-rate material, and may now be the lone voice of XXX on the east coast.

Definitely worth stocking.
