Poor Amber can't get off. So she goes to her psychiatrist (Jerry Butler) to find out why, and he hypnotizes her, taking her back to her earlier life (and even to previous lives) to discover the source of her passive puss. From a 19th Century mistress and her stably boy (Tom Byron), to a Roaring 20's affair with a married man (Joey Silvera), to a modern jailhouse lesbian love (D.J. Morgan, Monica Kitt) we view Amber's hot sexcapades. But with all of those people, there is only one who can turn her frown upside down. But, if I expose the ending here, you might not desire a peep at Amber.
My desire to see this movie was great because I generally like Amber's work. Yet, two problems with this feature leave me a little limp. Amber's frigidity seems to have penetrated the entire cast. Many of the sex scenes are so calm, it looks as if the cast had been dipped in "Prolong." Secondly, too many sex scenes copy those done in other similar X-movies. One familiar scene, pretty well-done, shows a dramatic ritual performed in Satanic chambers.
Amber's Desires does have plenty going for it. Look above... the cast is a phenomenal gathering of talent. The quality of production is very good, with a lot of sex scenes —some very exciting. And of course, there is a lot of Amber Lynn, if seeing her is what you desire.
