Bad Dads is the theme of this double feature from producer Bree Mills. Like a lot of Pure Taboo, it’s kind of a bitter pill, but really well crafted by Craven Moorehead and his team.
In “A Father Unleashed,” Steve Holmes is lured into having sex with his naive stepdaughter by his own brother. They are a creepy pair of middle-European step-siblings, with Mick Blue registering as extra-sinister. “I can’t even believe you two are related. You’re my favorite uncle,” says Chloe Cherry, who becomes their prey. They don’t much like each other but Blue knows how to play his brother. He unleashes Holmes’ long-simmering lust.
It culminates in a double penetration, a sexual skill set that ordinary dudes are unlikely to have, but hey, this is Blue and Holmes, best in the biz. Chloe is touching in her innocence and in her ultimate refusal to let herself be totally victimized.
In “The Cookie Jar,” Ricky Johnson takes girlfriend Jaye Summers to visit his affluent folks who have a big house with a pool. Ricky’s dad, excellently embodied by Tyler Knight, has his eyes on Jaye. Later that night he offers her a cookie snack and a blatant proposition. Fuck him or he’ll withhold permission for the marriage. “Prove to me you want to marry my boy.”
He penetrates her in several positions and leaves her with a cream pie. “This never happened,” he tells her. She is deeply shamed, lies awake in bed as Ricky tries to make her in the morning. “My parents love you, especially my father.” She lets him fuck her, clearly not enjoying it the way he is. Another cream pie is followed by a romantic proposal, but the ending is bitterly ironic.
