Because there’s no thrill quite like stealing a clandestine view of a sexy girl doing something private, director John Leslie created a line of porn videos that simulate the experience of the peeping Tom. The Voyeur 37 proves that the series remains as classic as the sensation that inspires it. In each scene, long shots showing just what a nosy, lucky peeper might spy alternate with close-up camerawork that gives the viewer detailed, intimate access to tits, pussy and ass in flagrante delicto.
There’s a reason that John Leslie’s The Voyeur series has lasted through 37 incarnations: It’s just that damn good. Leslie always appreciated beautiful women, and the collection of performers here (Angelica Heart, Cathy Heaven, Kimberly Kiss, Blue Angel and more) is a testament to that.
Leslie was also the master at the “Peeping Tom” style of shooting: Viewers sometimes catch a glimpse that the camera is hiding behind a wall, or piece of furniture or shrubbery, and the microphone sometimes picks up ambient sound like the blowing wind.
