The lead-in to an Ana Nova scene takes forever before her d.p. with Reno and Kris Slater. The parody itself isn’t that close to the show in any sense, and Reno doesn’t even try to hide his French accent while playing the Hawaii-based, mullet-wearing bounty hunter. Chapman’s wife, a blonde with big hair and big tits named Beth, is completely left out of this parody, and any fan of the TV show would reasonably expect to see her represented here. Zero effort is given to making the San Fernando Valley look at all like Hawaii, where the show being parodied takes place, and Reno sports a much shorter haircut than Chapman for part of the time. Also, though Karter and Reno appear on the cover together, they don’t actually fuck in the movie.
