This isn't the first stab porn has taken at pop culture-ingrained good ol' boy franchise The Dukes of Hazzard, but it's easily the highest reaching. It's also Vouyer Media's biggest production to date, and a praiseworthy entry for the studio into the feature/parody arena.
Of all the properties out there porn producers have pounced upon in the current parody rush, Hazzard is one of the more obviously well suited to XXX-ification, and this venture does not squander that inherent potential. Not only is the casting prime across the board, all the crucial details are actualized with expert precision—the most glaring example of which being the perfect replica brought in of the Duke boys' famed General Lee hotrod, complete with "Dixie"-tooting horn.
The plot, such as it were, concerns Daisy (Ryder Skye) entering a wet t-shirt contest being held by Boss Hogg that he's rigged to recoup the prize money by having Uncle Jesse thrown in the slammer and setting the bail at the same amount, thus forcing Daisy to hand the cash right back over in order to spring Jesse.
Amidst the unfolding of all this, Daisy gets plowed on the hoods of two different cars—first by Deputy Enis (Dane Cross) atop her own yellow dragster, and later by Sheriff Loomis (Jack Lawrence) on his cruiser. Loomis' daughter Lulu (Monique Alexander) gets it from Kooter (Mark Wood) at his garage, while Bo and Luke (Bill Bailey and Anthony Rosano) take on Nancy Lou (Shawna Lenee) and Candy (Alexis Texas), respectively. Every scene is a strong, strokable keeper.
The three principals (Bailey, Rosano and Skye) all execute their parts with finesse, and among the several non-sex players, Carl Frederick Coughlan does the most notable job as Jesse. The whole movie is also scored with true-to-the-original country tunes, as laid down by (according to the credits) the "A. Slayer Trio"—which may or may not be an actual combo led by director Anton Slayer.
In any event, Hazzard does stand out as a choice offering in the glut of porn parodies, and should satisfy most anyone who's been waiting for this porn parody in particular to come barreling along. The two-disc set contains a wealth of extras, as well, including a 30-minute sex-free version of the movie.
