Hustler Video has knocked on X-Play's door for what is arguably the studio's best sitcom send-up since Not the Bradys XXX. While Hustler can certainly hold its own in the spoof department, their decision to tap into X-Play producers Scott David and Jeff Mullen's unrivaled parody mojo truly pays off in their ode to late ‘70s sitcom "Three's Company."
Not Three's Company XXX is nostalgic fun. Set design and wardrobe are spot-on and the casting is simply inspired (this reviewer can't ever recall being excited about a Scott Lyons casting until now). While Van Damage's take on aspiring chef Jack Tripper falls flat, Brynn Tyler impresses as Christy Snow's ditzy doppelgänger. Tyler not only looks the part; she nails the character's inflection and snort. She also rocks a body as hot as young Suzanne Somers and turns in a spirited fuck scene with Eric Swiss.
Penny Flame's homegrown hyperactive charm serves her well in the role of Janet Wood (would what?). Her nervous surrender to lesbian activist Roxy Jezel in the name of women's lib is funny as it is stroke-worthy. Sienna West's portrayal of cock-hungry cougar Lana Shields doesn't resonate with the same sad desperation it did on "Three's Company," but West definitely captures the character's slutty abandon — and those tits are just spectacular.
Dino Bravo and Nina Hartley shine as the Ropers, but it's the man in the leisure suit and ascot that manages to get the biggest laughs: Scott Lyons. Rail-thin and bug-eyed, Lyons truly calls to mind the genius of Don Knott's Ralph Furley despite not having much screen time. Lyons also turns in a solid fuck with curvy babe Jenny Hendrix, proving that Mr. Furley's hands weren't the only lethal weapons in his arsenal.
Only one question remains: Where the fuck is Felipe?
