Synopsis

Gitane Demone from 1988-1998 after leaving the band called Christian Death.

Reviews

This fancily-packaged cult classic is filled with two discs (plus a CD of unreleased cover songs) about alt singer Gitane Demone after she left the band Christian Death. Taken from many sources (TV, radio, concerts), this covers her peak years of 1988-1998 including her Euro travels and gigs in seedy clubs. Demone's voice moves from various tones including seduction, rebellion, innocence and more.

One kinky part of her life was pure fetish (performing with DeMask and Skin Two) and, adorned in latex and wielding a strap-on dildo, she went all out — including once having a woman suck it on stage. Another time, she was found in similar attire using a long dildo to keep tempo with the music.

Obviously not for everyone, her fans and fans of her type of alt music will be most impressed with this revisitation of her stage appearances. This is her first DVD release.
