Andrew Blake revisits his first triumph 20 years later and finds new heat and visual excitement in the story of, basically, a very horny woman. In real life she might indeed be a sex addict in need of counseling. But on film, as embodied by Paola Rey, she is smolderingly erotic, a magnetic physical presence whose every movement conveys insatiable passion.

The Brazilian Rey is a natural Blake subject: lithe, long-legged, with natural breasts and long dark hair. The full nude body shots of her are extremely arousing. And sexually she is smoking hot — in some scenes, literally. She's one of the few women who can make inhaling a cigarette look sensual to a non-smoker.

Blake returns here to boy-girl sex scenes — three of them, all hot, especially Paola and Aaron Wilcox in a swimming pool. There is a thread of a story line (just as there was in the first Night Trips), but no dialogue and, thankfully, no dippy voice-overs. Paola, who seems to inhabit a variety of luxe locations, has all manner of sexual contact — with herself, with guys, with girls (including Sophia Santi in a scene that starts as a catfight).

At one point she makes her way to a psychoanalyst (Otto Bauer) who can't seem to find anything wrong with her. He has sex with her, as does a female filmmaker, played by the delectable Charlotte Stokely, a kind of Blake surrogate.

At the end we see Paola walking nude by a tree-lined stream, a simple natural setting that indicates she's come to some kind of peace with her sexual self.
