When reviews open with kudos for videography, that doesn't portend well for the feature; but it is what it is: a showcase for a trio of lensmasters such as Jack Remy, Jake Jacobs and Travis Pitts. We're sure they're ecstatic that the director rented them a few choice locations to gloss up, plus a buncha HD-worthy pornstresses to populate their sets.
On the other hand, award-winning wordsmith George Kaplan has written hundreds of better scripts, and Bud Lee continues the same limited limbo he's been dancing for years. Basic premise: Coma patient (Simms) has a randy dream life ... while those around her (boyfriend Van Damage, etc.) have a rather hectic boning schedule in the real world.
Dream Machine opens with a decent Star/Deen coupling, which Lee repeats (snippets of) while Simms diddles her imaginary self. When she finally receives a blue-veined wake-me-up (London calling!) viewers might be too sleepy to jack off.
Retailing: Good couples fare; others beware!
