According to the opening credits of this thug life-themed release, there are over 56,000 gang members in Los Angeles. They murder, rape and rob without conscious. They also kill and fight each other over respect, control, revenge, money and bitches. What they don't do, apparently, is perform in porn. Channeling his best Joe "Peg Leg" Morgan, Derrick Pierce plays a member of a Van Nuys Mexican gang. While Pierce possesses the intensity and appearance of a gangbanger, his talents are wasted as director Roy Andrade instead relies on cliché images of bongs, cocaine and guns to portray la vida loca. An actual plot and fleshed out characters could make this a compelling and unique urban series. That said Lorena Sanchez, in a camo-mini and strappy heels, packs more heat than any barrio in East LA. Candy Manson is also fun to watch as she's used up in a garage by a homie. Retailing: Stock with your Latin titles. - Derek Richards
