Private's new darling-director X-Off brings a Ninn-like cutting edge feel to his work. The artistic achievement aside, the byzantine plot is difficult to follow, even with narration. It involves a war between Bosnia and Italy, a proclamation-prone dictator (wearing a Dr. Doom-like iron mask) and lots of sweaty soldiers getting laid. Despite the '90s-era box cover featuring gun-toting babes, Mafia Girlz is a decidedly Mafia-free zone.
The sex features dozens of Private's finest ladies performing nasty d.p.s as if the fate of their homeland hung in the balance. For this reason, our strong recommendation.
"So this is the end of blood and flesh, of storms and peace; of Heaven and Hell?" asks Diamond of the drama.
