Obviously, Julie Simone, the director and star of The Jogger, really wanted to make something special here for lovers of BDSM everywhere. What she's done is not simply your average feature, it's an attempt at a real story with some real filmmaking involved.

The plot involves Julie being ambushed by her escaped convict ex-husband while she's jogging in the woods. What follows is progressive predicament bondage, featuring the lovely Julie in many different positions, her gorgeous body twisted this way and that.

Here's the problem. An attempt at honest-to-goodness filmmaking that, sadly, falls short of either good film or good porn, there is simply a lot of time going by in The Jogger during which one's mind is left to drift. There's a seed of something here, and you have to admire the ambition, but what you've really got is just average.
