The packaging on this golden age reissue says Samantha Fox is the star, but she isn't in the film at all.
Also originally released under the title Black Pearl, this feature has a low-wattage cast of unknowns and seems low budget even by the standards of the day. Still, the politically themed plot makes for an interesting trip down memory lane.
The first part of the story has something to do with scheming in the California governor's office, but goes nowhere. Things get much more interesting when anti-gay crusader "Bonita Ryan" (clearly based on Anita Bryant) enters the scene. The governor's drunken girlfriend decides to teach her a lesson, so tricks her into being interviewed by a pair of gay guys in drag, who then proceed to tie her up and fuck her in the film's most interesting sex scene, before fucking each other and making her watch (though the gay sex is only implied and not shown.)
Retailing: Typical low-budget '70s porn with some retro appeal.
