This engrossing Martin Brimmer script comes across with a mixture of irony, melodrama, and comic sexual whimsy.
Randy Spears gets the idea of writing a stroke magazine column about Roxxxi Red, a made-up former call girl turned sex therapist advisor. As Spears continues to write, Shayla LaVeaux, who just happens to be a former call girl, is hired to assume the identity of Red for public appearances and, eventually, magazine layouts and adult videos. And so it begins.
George Kaplan's apery of a costumed Hollywood director helps to keeps the non-sex flowing between scenes like the threesome with Ashley Long, Chris Cannon, and Nikita Denise, which adds oral cum swapping to their finish. A girl/girl with an anal toy connects Aria and Gia Jordan. Also taking it up the back door is Taylor Rain courtesy of Steve Hatcher's cock.
The stars, LaVeaux and Spears, easily carry the feature, be it Spear's deadpan deliveries and subtle body gestures and expressions, or LaVeaux's commanding screen presence. They do a fine couples' scene together which offers an ending that, if revealed here, would best be called a spoiler.
Pre-nom for Best Director and Best Actress.
