As one featurette demonstrates, Playboy's Party Jokes still fall flat - but everything else about this half-century bash is worth watching, from excellent musical performances by Chicago, Blu Cantrell and Joey Fatone, to comedy by Drew Carey ("Thanks to Hugh Hefner, there's no shame in sex anymore."), Paul Rodriguez ("His [Hef's] maid probably cleaned up more DNA than the FBI crime lab."), Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. It's all interspersed with clips from 50 years worth of the Playboy After Dark TV show - thankfully, there was no Parents Television Council back then! - and interviews with more Hollywood celebs than you can shake a dildo at.
Frankly, it'd take almost as much time to describe all that goes on here as it does to watch it - but if Playboy glitz is your thing, this disk's for you!
