A simple little tale about two souls looking for love, The Housekeeper casts Tawny Roberts as the titular character who comes to work for movie sound man Randy Spears after being dumped and kicked out by boyfriend Evan Stone. Seduced by Spears' compassion toward her, it doesn't take long for Roberts to offer herself to him. Soon thereafter, they find themselves on a vacation together, where their burgeoning relationship is tested by sexual offerings all around them. The sex is usually a bit on the brief side, but so is the movie itself, and Spears is great as always.
