Try to imagine Hitchcock's Vertigo blended with a softcore coming-of-age flick; all set to ersatz Beach Boys music - and you may have an inkling of this goofy yet appealing anime venture. Tohru ( a boy) and Asuka (a girl) are childhood friends who awkwardly grow into puberty, unwilling at first to admit the thoughts they have for each other might possibly be sexual.

Tohru hides his desires behind the lens of his camera, snapping voyeuristic shots of his potential mate. All it takes is a well-intentioned date rape for the youth to make his feelings clear. ("You have a much hairier pussy now," he concludes as he thrusts himself into her against a chain link fence.) The happy couple soon find themselves exploring their darker sides - with multiple partners and multiple shutter exposures.
