Reviews

One would think, what with the title Band Camp and all, that the affair one was in for here would surely prove to be some sort of riff on the American Pie films, with their running gag about the ribald goings-on at such camps. But no, Band Camp, it turns out, is actually the tale of bass guitarist Barrett Blade, who lives and plays in a band (the rock-'n-roll kind, not the marching and big goofy hats kind) with best bud Jay Ashley, and who, one morning, mysteriously finds his bass case filled with $100 bills.

Not wasting any time, Barrett and Jay order up hookers Alexa Rae and Lezley Zen to show them a good time, which they most certainly do. But then Barrett begins to feel guilty about having cheated on girlfriend Avy Scott … until he finds out that she's been cheating on him, thus freeing him to profess his true love for - and bang the bejesus out of - Jay's little sister, Stormy.

A twist at the end causes the whole thing to make sense for about five seconds, until another twist makes it not make sense once again. Oh well. At least you get some hot sex along the way. And Blade, during the closing credits, plays bass and busts dance moves in a chicken suit.
