A dull title that borrows the misogyny and foul language of The Sopranos, promptly removes any remnants of an interesting story line or compelling characters, and replaces them with aggressive but largely dull sex.
It's too bad on all fronts. Rob Spallone is a perfect Tony Soprano type, but there's so little character development that he comes off as just another tough guy asshole from New Jersey. Or are viewers supposed to enter with their knowledge of Tony Soprano and fill in the blanks themselves? Or maybe the development was in the first six volumes of this series? If so, it's pretty high expectations of porn fans.
It's a shame about the sex, too. It's an excellent cast, but the scenes are flat and uninteresting and disappointingly unsexy.
