Like an appetizer before dinner, Girls Playing is a tempting morsel that stimulates carnal hunger with delicacy and good taste. The cast of lipstick lesbians are fresh, young and natural - not to mention genuinely eager to chow down at the corporeal oyster bar.
Although the babes eventually break out their toys, they use them with discretion. When an all-girl video focuses on pleasure rather than penetration, personal chemistry betters electrical current every time. Each segment is what you might call "Sunday morning sex," i.e. spontaneous and unhurried. Thankfully, kissing and mutual masturbation receive the same amount of attention as furious Furby licking. When gals like Destiny and Nautica get going, however, rest assured that the heat quickly rises from slow simmer to hip-grinding sizzle. Although we enjoyed these two slightly more than other sequences, truth be told, they all maintain similar levels of eroticism. The sameness (and lack of pure raunchiness) may be too tame for raincoaters, but the ideal market is a more sophisticated crowd.
Shot in a faux-film look on spare locations, Girls Playing has the appeal of an Andrew Blake movie (without the stylized costuming and hopelessly frigid ice queens). Our only real objection concerns a series of useless interstitials - i.e. dyke-on-the-street interviews about what makes them horny. Such vapid padding is unfocused and irrelevant.
