In recent years, at least, there hasn't exactly been an embarrassment of riches to choose from when it came time to nominate titles for AVN's Best All-Girl Feature award. With the release of Britney Foster's Nightmare, however, the nominees at next year's show look to include at least one title for the ages.

It's only May, we realize, but this reviewer is gonna go out on a limb and say that from this vantage point, Nightmare looks to be the pussy-partial title to beat next January in Vegas.

Gorgeously shot, edited, directed and produced with a dark, unsettling vibe, and filled with wicked, wankable group Sapphic sex, the appropriately-named Nightmare is one of the best all-girl titles of this or any other year (world-class production values and nasty, down and dirty sex: now there's a concept).

Though technically, it has five sex scenes, this otherwordly-feeling production - the videography seamlessly alternates throughout between color and black and white, and the image/sound editing apes creepy, disorienting techniques from mainstream horror flicks - feels more like one continuous, well, sexual Nightmare set in a dark, dank warehouse complete with jail cells and a full-on dungeon.

The cast is uniformly hot, if not all exactly all A-list names, lusciously attired in lingerie, monster heels, knee-high boots, fishnets and various and sundry other mouth-watering, form-baring, fetish-lite garb.

The action is pretty much the same throughout, though that's not a criticism: four or five whores do each with fingers, tongues and above all else, huge fucking clear glass dils. Lots of girl ass gets fucked amid a shower of spittle (Foster, in particular, loves to lunger on and in pussy and shithole) and in-your-face dirty talk (most especially from Aria, who, along with Foster, is in just about every scene, and who spews "fuck" seemingly more times than Al Pacino does in Scarface; no mean feat).

The sex rarely hits a flat-out, fevered intensity - exceptions are Katrina Kraven in the closer, and, to a lesser degree, Alicia Rhodes (both deserving of pre-noms for Female Performer of the Year) - but thanks to the wicked porno aesthetic, Foster brings to the table it's horny, dick stiffening, wank-worthy fodder nonetheless. One such moment cums in scene four when, as Aria fucks herself standing up with a baseball bat-sized toy, Foster - only her sexy, fetish-panted legs are seen in the foreground framing the action - orders two other fillies to "pray" to Aria (i.e., get on their knees and worship her boots). Hey, it got us off.

Throughout, Foster - a formidable, hard-as-nails, foul-mouthed bitch with a don't-fuck-with-me 'tude and awe-inspiring bolt-ons - is a commanding, dominant presence as, like some kind of XXX-rated field marshal, she directs much of the action in front of the camera, positioning bodies and pussies and assholes to her satisfaction.

"Fuck it like you like it, you fucking whore," she tells Aria at one point while reaming her cunt. And, at another point, while watching Kraven's crapper get impaled, "You gape like the grand canyon," wickedly rolls off Foster's rancid tongue.

Foster's most impressive achievement, however, is that when the last scene ends - memorably, as Kraven rains heavy spit onto the camera lens, spewing out, "Fuck you, you perverts," her spittle slowly meandering down across the lens - we're left wanting more of this Nightmare. Which, considering all the product we here at AVN have to slog through each month, is really saying something.

With Nightmare (as well as her Disturbed from a few months ago, which also should be pre-nommed for Best All-Girl Feature), Foster demonstrates that right now, no one is doing girl-girl better than she.
