The scenario is incoherent - something about a mad scientist/doctor, the nurse he created to look like a woman but function like a machine, and the two hapless patients/prisoners that fall into their clutches. Mostly, this feature is an excuse to break out the medical equipment and skimpy nurse lingerie.
Devin DeMoore stars as the nurse-thing, but she's unable to muster much menace as she pokes and prods D'Arby. And what's with the dungeon torture scene that prominently features - we couldn't make this up - what looks like a set of Lucite toilet plungers? D'Arby and fellow victim Krissy are tied side-by-side for a thorough spanking and flogging in the penultimate scene; the video climaxes with DeMoore's punishment flogging. In the end, Doctor Bip breaks out a big knife to end his "experiment," and the final shot is a plastic monster head thrown into a bucket. Whatever.
A B-movie aesthetic is no excuse for bad sound, barely adequate lighting and sodden scenes. B&D Pleasures would do well to junk the complicated (read: confusing) plots and stick to simpler scenarios.
The DVD is loaded with extras, as if this were a lavish, top-of-the-line release. Perhaps it's intended to be.
