Reviews

Foreign-shot couples porn can be funny; they care a lot about production value, high-end sets and perfect lighting, but often the sex seems sterile. D'Salvos' Emotion is a case-in-point.

The plot (a psychological-thriller thing) was pretty interesting, the costumes and sets were glamorous and pristine, and even the acting was top notch - courtesy mainly of the overdub actors who did a particularly good job with their work. Hell, the director even threw in some ham-handed symbolism by using masks to suggest the shifting identities of his characters. ... Too bad the sex was so blah.

Little passion or heat is in evidence between these undoubtedly beautiful Europeans. Maybe it's the overdub of fake moans and groans or maybe it's the way each sex scene pretty much unfolds in the same way, but it all seemed sort of distant. Even a bathroom ménage a trois with Julian St. Jox, Sari Monella and Kris failed to ignite.

It's still worthwhile, though, if only for the general attractiveness of the players and the backdrops of European mansions.
