B-movie scream queen Misty Mundane plays Patricia Porker, a shy New York college girl who transforms into Spider Babe after being bitten by a genetically engineered spider (sound familiar, Web crawlers?). As Spider Babe, she fights crime, climbs walls and generally kicks ass with her newly found super strength. She also manages to find time to seduce half of New York while she's at it.
Filled with enough sex-lite and T&A to keep smut fans happy, yet mainstream enough to make a cable run, Spider Babe is a fun, punk and goth inspired trashy b-movie like Roger Corman used to make, filled with hilariously bad dialogue and cheesy special effects. Mundane has subtle star power and one could see her going onto bigger and better things ... or heading straight into porn.
The DVD is filled to the brim with extras, so fans can revel in Mundane's appeal and check out some behind the scenes madness.
