Claire - played by newcomer Melanie Coste - is beautiful but cold. She can't understand why she's incapable of pleasure. Her warming up is the subject of this excellent French import, directed by Jorn Wolf.

Claire, to her dismay, always gets a headache when hubby Stefan (Frank Gun) wants to fuck. So he sends her to a country chateau where ladies learn to lust. Candice, her facilitator, tells her times have changed since their uptight mothers' day - now women can enjoy sex as much as men.

Claire's libido ignites as she watches other people fuck. There's a threeway with a husband, his wife and her lover that ends in anal sex and double penetration. There's the frigid woman who "was just like you when she came here" and is now going full-bore with a muscular blacksmith in some kind of hi-tech forge (a superbly photographed scene).

Her own breakthrough is with two men she can't see through her black silk blindfold. She experiences her first anal sex, plus a d.p. The final scene is with her husband as they share the joys of her new arousal.

The sex scenes are all really hot, performed with real sensual involvement. Videography, settings and music are first-rate, and Wolf paces the action with the skill of a mainstream director. The lack, so far, of English subtitles is the only drawback.

A 29-minute "Making Of" DVD extra offers fascinating backstage glimpses of a multi-lingual Europorn set.
