Oooh! Oooh! Somebody has a new editing software package, n'yha n'yha! Perhaps it's called In Your Face FX 6.0 because it's impossible to ignore the utterly gratuitous, stupendously distracting visual bullshit which makes this vid a prime candidate for tape recycling.

All the tricked-out wipes, dissolves, and P.I.P.'s cannot disguise the fact that the underlying material is pedestrian in the extreme. Yikes...where to begin? With the nominal heat generated by the performers, who go through the motions like posed mannequins? With the production values, promising a whiff of exotic New Zealand...but delivering bland interiors and one forest scene? With the raw videography, which fails to properly light crucial ingredients such as genitals? (Actually, the DVD transfer is slightly better.)

Compounding this nonsense, the ladies rarely - if ever - get fully naked. Unless this project was sponsored by Victoria's Secret, we see no good reason to keep the physical attributes of its female cast under wraps for the greater length of each segment.

To be fair, the aforementioned forest scene is moderately hot. The real-life couple is obviously aroused although the heat never turns to steam because of murky close-ups. In fact, Jon Yuma's on-screen disclaimer reveals that, unlike the interior pieces, he did not direct the performers (Jodie and Mike) in this, the most successful scene. We suggest that not directing might make a better career choice in the future, Jon. Sex Around the World should stay around the world.
