If drunken flashing is your thing, you've no doubt rubbed elbows with DreamGirls before. In that capacity, this series certainly serves its fans well. The same can't be said for the DVD, which has a severely pixelated transfer. Even though the source video isn't always perfect, it could certainly have looked better than this. As it stands the picture has constant digital grain and color bleed. One note to collectors: Given the sheer number of trademarks and copyrights infringed upon in the average volume of DreamGirls (onthis disc alone there are dozens of songs playing in bars, logos for various companies, people who appear in crowds or on stage who can't possibly have signed releases, etc.), it can't be long before legal action drives this series from the shelves, so fans, grab it while you can.
