This nearly-forgotten gem of a film from 1994 gets new life on DVD with what appears to be (and isn't, of course) a pristine 35mm print. It looks that good. It's an art film, with a complex plot, fine production values, and one excellent sex scene as Tiffany Million devours Jesse Eastern while feeding Mike Homer lunch. Weird and sexy, Tangled features a wide array of stars in their heyday four years ago, including Ona Zee, Nina Hartley, Ariana, Devon Shire, Teri Diver, Tina Tyler and others.

The simple menu features cast bios, an Internet address and all the usual stuff. But their menu of previews of other films is a real plus (fifteen discs are represented, but only five access previews). For your new or growing DVD section, Tangled representsan absolute must-have disc.
