This shot-on-film comedy (not shot-on-video, as we incorrectly stated in our original review waaaay back in September of '86) is a welcome reminder of the days when the typical adult feature had a decent budget, most of the ladies were silicone-free, and damn near everyone had at least a modicum of acting ability.

The premise of a group of housewives who uses their self-defense training to capture and schtup several unsuspecting men is played strictly (and smartly) for laughs, and the half-dozen or so sex scenes are solid by any standard past or present; of course, it only makes sense that a film featuring five Hall-of-Famers in their prime (Amber Lynn, Porsche Lynn, Buck Adams, Herschel Savage, Randy West [credited as Andy Abrams]) would hafta be worth a second look even years later.

Picture and sound are as good as one can reasonably expect considering the age of the source material; very minor pixelation is evident from time to time in areas of solid color, though seldom did we find this distracting.

With the exception of chapter stops (seven, to be exact), there are no bonus materials to speak of. Despite this lack of extras, retailers shouldn't let couples overlook this light-hearted gem from porndom's not-too-distant past.
