Originally released as Party House (and titled as such in the opening credits), this "8"-rated "behind-the-scenes" film comedy (first reviewed in our August '96 issue) stars Jenteal, Jordan Lee, Jill Kelly, and Tony Tedeschi and is definitely worth a second look on DVD.
As with all Wave titles, the disc is divided into several chapters so viewers can easily preview or jump to a favorite scene; bonus footage from other Wave and Vivid productions is included in the lnt.Tel.Sex game room; Kobe Tai interacts with the viewer from a first person perspective in Kobe's World; all the current Vivid Girls are profiled; DVD-ROM compatibility and Web access allows viewers to e-mail their favorite stars; and a lack of regional coding should -- in most cases -- permit playback across the globe. Previews of current and upcoming Wave DVDs round out the disc. Also enclosed are a mini-poster of the Vivid Girls and a catalog of low-priced, DVD-compatible MPEG-1 Video CDs.
The picture is a little soft on rare occasions (undoubtedly due to the 16 mm source material), but the overall presentation is well above average for adult fare. Besides, it's just a pretty damn fun movie to begin with, made that much better on DVD; market to Jenteal collectors, or place in your couples or adult comedy sections, and watch 'em fly off the shelves.
