Had the videographer bothered to correct even half the hot spots that plague damn near every shot m Amazon Heat (anybody out there heard of reflectors?), it might, just might, have been worth a look on DVD -- for the outdoor sex with some pretty-looking unknowns more than anything else, seeing as the plot and production values are minimalist in the extreme. Video glitches (source material) are numerous, opening titles are washed out against the background, and the music track is non-existent. A couple of scenes even play back MOS.

On the tech side, the disc supports parental lockout and is all-region compatible. A full-motion chapter index is by far the most accomplished feature of this DVD, hardly an improvement over videotape. Talk Dirty to Me, Part 10 is a pleasant little sex comedy boasting good production, a fine cast (Missy, Kylie Ireland, Nici Sterling, Peter North, Vince Vouyer, Steve Drake, and others), and a clean transfer to DVD. Like Amazon Heat, TDtM10 includes parental lock-out support, all-region play, and a full-motion chapter index. An alternate commentary track with producer/star Steve Drake is a bonus, as it gives viewers insight into both Drake's personal experiences on the set and the videomaking process in general. A fine addition to any store's adult DVD section.
