Vivid dropped the "9" that should, as it did in the videotape release, follow the title of this disk, to avoid having innumerable customers ask, "So where's 1 through 8?" However, aficionados of adult DVD are unlikely to quibble… especially after they get a look at the roster of Vivid girls and other stars that grace this disk. With stars like Janine, Chasey Lane, Christy Canyon, Jenteal, Nikki Tyler, Dyanna Lauren and the little-seen Alexis, all baring their bods for Ralph Parfait's camera, all captured and transferred to digital image quality, what's not to like?

We reviewed the videotape of this feature in September of '97, and its all-girl action seems even hotter on a second look. The DVD adds six animated chapter stops, so you can see a few seconds of action before deciding into which sexual adventure you want to leap. Also present is the featurette, "There's No Girl Like a Vivid Girl," which, as attractive as it is to watch, seems unavoidable whenever you start up the disk. There are also brief biographies of the stars, with photos and clips of them in action; a photo gallery; abbreviated versions of Vivid's Int.Tel.Sex games; a preview of the Kove's Virtual World game and other Vivid DVDs' and an ad for Vivid's still-on-the-drawing-board Cyber-Sex toy.

Picture and audio qualities are significantly better than videotape, and while this wouldn't be the first Vivid DVD we'd buy (that would be Bad Wives), it's an excellent addition to anyone's collection… and to any retailer's small-but-growing DVD selection.
