Warning: This film contains graphic scenes of torture and other sadistic sexual practices.  The Adult Video News recommends that only those with the most liberal sexual views watch this film.

As a film critic you have the “pleasure” of reviewing many films, and, for obvious reasons, each one stands apart from the next. Unfortunately, I will never forget Horror In The Wax Museum; it has the undistinguished honor of being one of the worst movies I have ever reviewed.

Horror In The Wax Museum is billed as one of the best S&M films ever made.  While I must admit that I found the physical torture and humiliation scenes disturbing, this was not the biggest problem.  Every particular aspect of Horror In The Wax Museum was below even the most lenient standards.  The entire cast consists of three equally unattractive women, a black male and a Chinese transsexual.  It seems as though James Watt was hired as a casting director.

The sex in Horror In The Wax Museum is nearly non-existent.  There are only two short uninspired scenes featuring no intercourse at all.  Given the nature of bondage films, this can be understood.  These films exist solely for teasing and torture.

But Horror In The Wax Museum could have been a ten minute film. Each scene is filled with repetition.  For example, the male lead (who I’ll call “Rover”) was forced to crawl around like a dog for about 15 straight minutes. In another scene, two women are forced to rub their breasts together for over ten minutes.  During these extended scenes the same dialogue was repeated over and over again.  Welcome to the “Department of Redundancy Department.”

Did I forget to mention the plot?  Sorry, but to mention the plot would blow the big surprise!  The best thing I can say about Horror In The Wax Museum is that it has nice packaging.

It’s a shame that this perverse piece of “stimulation” was so stagnant.  For reviewers.
