For those fans of softcore adult films who have waited anxiously for an all Oriental sex film, look no further than Wild Cherry, a rather bizarre story of Japanese masseuses. Filled with frontal nudity, a plethora of Oriental women and some strange sexual customs, this illegal Chinese production, similar to the earliest American blue films, plays like a cheapo B-movie thrown together for pure exploitation.

Certainly a novelty, Wild Cherry mixes its many short sex scenes with a grainy looking but interesting trip through Tokyo, including its discos and an aquarium. Wow! The story is minimal at best: a magazine publisher visits his friend who owns a Japanese massage parlor. He soon discovers that the girls in this parlor have various difficulties satisfying their clientele. The story centers on two of the masseuses, one of whom must deliver whips to one of her tied up customers.

Besides bondage, the sex scenes include typical simulated fornication, self de-virginization, foot licking, a rape (with a good orgasm) and a man who drinks one of the girl's urine straight from her vagina using a straw. Thankfully, the viewer doesn't actually see it, but the man lets out a grateful belch anyway.

If this all seems rather strange, take note: watching Wild Cherry is not a typical experience. It tries to be a sleazy sexploitation flick and fans of that genre should be forewarned. I don't think it will do too much to turn you on (only a couple of the girls are good looking), but it certainly should hold your interest for an evening.
