At last… an adult film that couples can enjoy, designed with an 80’s partnership in mind.  If you are old-fashioned, then steer clear, because Challenge of Desire presents female liberation as the norm, not the exception.  It’s about time!

David and Laura keep their marriage on its toes with competition of every kind… personal, emotional, and sexual.  What starts out to be just another sexual game (“I bet I can make you come!”) escalates into a private war, as each spouse procures on exotic stud/prostitute to degrade and humiliate the other with.  Laura may be losing the game physically (she ends up orgasming more often than not) but David is breaking under the mental strain.

After several separate encounters, they decide to “do” one woman together and let her cast the deciding vote.  What happens from this point on would not be fair to describe.

Challenge of Desire is a refreshing change on the adult video scene.  Though the film is top-heavy with sex and short on characterization, Becky Savage and Jon Martin succeed in presenting a real couple. Hopefully, this is not just a “trend,” but rather a new avenue to explore modern adult relationships.
