When the Lord created heaven and earth, and in due course man and woman, he separated them by hanging an appendage on man and placing a receptacle in woman. He gave them both mouths, figuring that they both needed something with which to complain about the weather and taxes. In time they found a better use. He also gave both of them the ultimate "outie." But man, being the enterprising animal he is, has now turned the "outie" into an "innie" and thus begat Caught From Behind II: The Sequel.
Dr. Peter Proctor (Eric Edwards) runs a sex clinic devoted to teaching the pleasures of the "Anal Alternative." Successful in teaching his gospel to others, he has, to date, failed to encourage his straight wife (Rose Marie) to indulge. After he counsels a patient by phone he realizes, that while he is a successful doctor, he is unfulfilled in bed. He asks his spouse to sit in on a session and she agrees. She watches as the good doctor demonstrates to Ron Jeremy. Then Ron puts the training into use. When the Lord made Ron Jeremy, however, he must have deprived about four other people, and Mrs. Proctor is hardly convinced. Even Mrs. Gargantua would have qualms about Ron.
But Mrs. Proctor is not a quitter, and after three more patients have described their experiences, she concedes. Faster than you can say "Wham, Bam, Thank You, Ma'am" the end result has been accomplished and everybody lives happily ever after, most of them able to sit down and discuss it.
Caught From Behind II is far superior in photography, and more importantly, continuity to the original, which was nothing more than loops tied together by a very loose thread of a couple watching other couples from their apartment window. Each sex scene in the sequel is tied into the story through some interaction with the star. There are some flaws, like a duplication of some of the dialogue during one of the sex scenes, but it's not a major distraction. The photography is top-rate and extremely intimate and exciting, with my personal favorite being the phone scene with Nancy Sutter and two guys. Here the viewer is given the feeling of being physically involved, so graphic are the close-ups. Also credit Ron Jeremy for the funniest line in the picture when he says to his wife, "I'm a little bit bigger than the Doctor." Reminded me of the commercial of Wilt Chamberlain and the Volkswagen.
Ron Jeremy, in his interview with AVN (December 1983) gives a kudo to Hall Freeman for giving people what they want. With the growing interest in anal sex movies (Deep Pleasure, Back Door Girls, Double Your Pleasure, etc.), I'd like to tip my raincoat to Freeman for making the Rolls Royce of the genre, no ifs, ands or butts.
