Where's the hardcore sex?

Have you ever watched cable television late at night and a porno film that you're familiar with is on, and you say, "Where's the hardcore sex?"

That's what you'll feel like when you view Nathalie, a gauzy Greek sex movie with a story so thin, you can eat it with a toothpick. You get wall-to-wall sex here, complete nudity throughout, bad acting, and worse dubbing from the original language – the makings of a good hardcore film. But no penetration or oral sex!

Simply, Nathalie's fiancé, who's screwing around with everyone including Nathalie (Marcella Petri), wants to get her father to finance his new film. But he and his evil blonde sidekick were behind the kidnapping of Nathalie that sucked money from her rich Dad. No more plot complications. Everything else is impossible to figure out.

On the positive side, several of the more than dozen sex scenes, extremely well-photographed, capture some lush eroticism. Chunky Marcella Petri is kind-of-cute and not badly built. The film loads us with masturbation-shower scenes, so if you enjoy those, Nathalie shouldn't be missed.

Finally, while watching this typical mid-seventies sexual-coming-of-age softcore classic, I leaned over to Barry Rosenblatt and asked "Can you figure out what's going o?" He answered, quite plainly, "It's Greek to me." Bad joke, but it just about sums it up.
