Shots of bustling New York City streets. Cars zipping through the heart of Manhattan. The weather is somewhat dreary. The performers are mostly ordinary people; they could have spent the hour before foreplay in 52nd Street eatery chomping Danish and sipping coffee. Their sexual aggressiveness, however, is gung-ho.
These are some of the elements of adult films made in the Big Apple. And these two movies offer perfect examples of East Coast screen erotica.
Maneaters, directed by sometime night club proprietor/filmmaker Fred J. Lincoln (Oui, Girls and That's Outrageous), stars Joey Silvera as a sex-starved lawyer who likes to play when his wife, Kelly Nichols, is away. One day, his perversion excursions are interrupted by a blast from the past: a young women he once screwed – literally and figuratively – has returned for revenge. Along with a gaggle of randy pals (Tiffany Clark and Sharon Kane, among them), she rapes, humiliates, then threatens to blackmail our pal Joey to even up the score.
