Originally titled The Incredible Torture Show when released theatrically in the mid 1970's, this bloody, gruesome, bondage-laden opus will probably make the average viewer cringes and possibly, gag as well. The sexual aspects are kinky; with bizarre happenings for even the most jaded fan. This tongue-in-cheek (ripped out tongue, that is) cult film features a modern marquis de sade named Sardu and his sadistic midget companion called Ralphus who put on violent torture and dismemberment shows for small crowds who might ordinarily attend a snuff outing.

This women in this relentlessly bizarre movie, mostly good-looking, are caged, racked, beaten and chopped by the demented "showman" and his band of female thugs (all well-endowed).

Included is a neat decapitation, a drill to the head (a doctor actually uses a straw to suck up the blood from the gaping wound), the ripping out and eating of a woman's eyeballs, a live man being eaten alive by "the caged sexoids," homosexual necrophilia; the list goes on and on. In addition, on view is varying types of leather outfits, some whips and a sexoid who rubs a bloody, beating human heart along her large breasts.

If all of this seems sick, remember that you're only reading it. Excessive to the point of ridiculousness. Bloodsucking Freaks takes the genre of "sex and violence" movies to new heights – similar in style and content to Herschell Gordon Lewis' The Wizard of Gore, but closer in tone to your average bondage sex videocassette. It can be a lot of fun.
