Picking up where the R-rated feature Angel leaves off, Hustler 17 is about the exploits of a high school student who supplements her allowance in a most creative way. Who says teenagers are lazy? Not Candy, played by Stacey Donovan (a.k.a. Camilla). She’s introduced to the joys of sex by her French teacher, Helga Sven (who happens to run a bordello on the side). Candy proves to be a star pupil. She even recruits her best friend (Karen Summer) into the same line of work after a loving description of all the fringe benefits.
This is about as deep as they story gets, friends. It’s all fluff, designed for the express purpose of showing off the talents of Donovan and Summer. But if you approach Hustler 17, with the proper attitude, then you won’t be disappointed. Of the two girls (I haven’t the heart to call them women yet), Karen is by far the most enthusiastic and erotic performer. She reminded me of a very young Natalie Wood and has a cute little wisp of pubic hair that almost reaches to her navel.
However – and this is a big however – Stacey Donovan steals the show with her amazing looks. Despite the fact that she can barely act or that her sexual prowess needs a bit of adrenalin, Donovan gets the highest possible rating on a purely physical scale. To this reviewer, she is the perfect female!
She has smooth skin, silky blonde hair, translucent blue eyes, and a compact, youthful body. They sound like clichés, but you have to see this wonderful creature to believe her.
Hustler 17 covers most of the basic sexual variations. There’s the orgy, the tender lesbian scene, and the usual one-on-one (with Karen Summer and musclebound Nick Niter, who is surprisingly gentle). I was even amused to find that the madame, a woman who has seen more than a couple of years go by, getting into the hardcore action.
Hustler 17 isn’t the best adult feature I’ve seen. But let’s give it an “A” for effort, and another two “A’s” for the alluring presence of Stacey Donovan. She has a wonderful career ahead of her.
