A definite mixed bag from director Drea: Black Jailbait is standard videomaking elevated by some decent sex scenes, while Dial "F" For Fantasy tries for something different, and falls a bit short. Dial "F" concerns two businesswomen (Robbins and Maning) who have concocted a device which allows people to visualize their dreams on a T.V. monitor (a la Brainstorm and Dreamscape). While this allows for some decent sex scenes, the proceedings come off as silly and convoluted.

Black Jailbait centers on poor Ralph Lincoln, stepfather to one horny household, and henpecked to boot. For a while, everyone is getting it on except for Ralph, but eventually his stepdaughter's best friend comes to his rescue. Although the acting is sometimes monotone, this is all played for laughs, and on the whole Black Jailbait is one of the better examples of its genre.

A note in passing. We here at AVN, myself included, were recently duped on by fellow AVN columnist Darla Hewitt for dumping on Drea. I admit she has gotten some poor reviews, but that is part of the job. My positive review for Black Jailbait in no way is due to Ms. Hewitt's allegations. In fact, I have never met Darla Hewitt. Yet I must say that judging from what I have read, she would be most interested in Dial "F" For Fantasy. At the end of the feature, there is a humiliation scene that would seem right up her highway. Then again, maybe she will find it too tame by her standards, and dump on it.
