Could you imagine Charles Bronson playing the role of a Beverly Hills hairdresser? Well, then imagine beautiful Traci (with an “i”; I asked her personally!) Lords playing a frigid housewife! Poor Eric Edwards spends the first 45 minutes of Sex Waves trying to slip it to his gorgeous wife with very little success.
After a terrible accident leaves Traci in a coma, Edwards and his doctor friend, played poorly by Wayne Thomas, agree to an experimental brainwave transfer. Of course, they cross Traci with a nymphomaniac and the sultry gal remains in perpetual heat!
The sex in Sex Waves just ripple with excitement! Of course, Traci Lords is terrific, but Angel West shines as Edwards horny computer assistant. While the dialogue seems wordy, humor dos abound and the special effects are surprisingly well done.
Sex Waves does suffer from some choppy editing and sometimes grainy film quality. However, it is an ambitious adult film that does deserve your viewing attention.
