The Perils of Gwendoline is a free wheelin', pie-in-the-face adventure story, spoofing the recent hit films, Raiders of the Lost Arc and Romancing the Stone. The film was shot on location in such exotic places as the Philippine Islands, he Moroccan coast, and the studios of Paris, France.
Gwendoline, played by the lovely Tawny Kitaen (Bachelor Party), is a young innocent in a foreign land, searching for her long lost father. Undaunted by dangers abounding, she and her colleague Beth (Zabou) persuade handsome, rouge adventurer Willard (Brent Huff) to aid in her quest. Naturally, Gwendoline and Willard express deep disdain for each other . . . initially. The inevitable romance ensues, however. Although it's not the most original idea, it's a proven set-up for fun and excitement – which Is just what you get.
Sexually, The Perils of Gwendoline is somewhat innocuous. Frontal nudity is about as explicit as it gets. Still, it is a sexy film with a lot of fantastic imagery. Also, the luscious Tawny Kitaen is a joy to watch and a pure fox from head to toe!
