Y'know, I never knew they manufactured Volkswagens in Borneo . . . but that's where the title "character" comes from. It's a gift to Peter North from his crazy uncle (a cameo sexual appearance by Ron Jeremy), and true to its Disney ancestry, it talks. Well, not exactly . . . it writes notes. You ask it a question, open the glove compartment, and there's your answer. Fortunately, it does a lot more also. For instance, when you sit in the driver's seat and tell it you're horny, it responds, "I know just what you want," and promptly teleports you to a house with a horny woman.
And what a collection of horny women! The real stander-upper in this picture is veteran actress Sharon Mitchell, who gets to make it with both boyfriend Marc Wallace and his pal Tom Byron. As bored California housewives, Kristara Barrington and Tiffany Blake do adequate jobs, while Ali Moore's performance is almost as hot as Sharon's. She's definitely an actress to watch . . . over and over again.
There's something for almost everyone here, except bondage fans. Of note are Ron and Peter's two-on-one, and the bubbling water that's always shown in the close-ups during Tom and Kristara's hot tub scene – a definite turn-on.
Director Hal Freeman deserves credit for maintaining the humor of the plot throughout, even during some of the sex scenes. Ron Jeremy is usually quite a comic, and certainly livens up his scene with ad-libs. Without revealing too much of the plot, it's safe (but sad) to say that Erwin, the Lust Bug, won't be with us again for about six months. But we'll eagerly await his return.
