Hal Freeman’s Angels of Mercy is a sexy, sex-filled look at the comings (and comings) at a very lively apartment complex.  The trouble stars when Keli Richards overhears a neighbor talking to a doctor, and she thinks that the neighbor is dying. So she tells her landlady and news quickly spreads.  Of course, everyone wants to make the guy’s last days on earth more pleasurable, so he’s at no loss for company for quite awhile.

Actually, nobody seems at loss for company around these apartments… Keli tempts the landlady (Buffy Davis) into a very hot seduction scene in order to have her rent lowered, while Buffy’s husband (Marc Wallace) is having one of the most erotic encounters I’ve seen on tape in a long time.  Tom Byron gets to sample everyone, until finally, he fulfill his “last dream” of satisfying two women at once.  And Doc decides to take on a few sympathy callers himself.  And so on.

Angels of Mercy is one of the better shot-on-video productions for a number of surprising reasons.  Production values are fairly standard, but not extraordinary.  There’s some fuzziness, and some of the scenes could have had better lighting.  However, the shortcomings are few.  The storyline, which has a cute plot, is just enough to hold the sex together.  But what makes this video better than most is that concern focused on settings, clothing and finding attractive performers. And of course, the sex!! You can tell this is a high-budget video.

The sex scenes in Angels are highly erotic and exciting.  The positions vary within scenes, and from scene to scene, so we’re not always watching the same old thing.  Wallace is especially good in a high-energy anal escapade with Buffy Davis.  Plus, we get an alternative to the usual drinking apparatus for champagne.  And there’s much more.
