Peter Galore (porn's answer to Matt Helm) is called in to rescue a distressed damsel being held captive by a Teddy Roosevelt look-a-like criminal. Teddy likes to put on a bra and panties and make love to his teddy bear.
Sex, intrigue, murder, mystery and more sex, wrapped with comical satire that emulates that of a Russ Meyer classic, is at the heart of this film.
This is a real "groovy" kind of movie, for it has that sixties air about it, complete with sixties terms like "hang loose man" and sixties dress and music that give this film its nostalgic flavor. It was filmed several years ago.
Although Peter Galore has its comic moments, a lot of the sex is the plain grind-it-out variety, with no heart or erotic reasoning. It's plain and it gets dull quickly. But to offset some of the monotonous sex scenes, we are provided with an interesting high-speed chase sequence with car crashes, flying bullets and explosions.
This film seemed to have had a fairly decent budget, however insufficient funds were allocated for actors. In fact, a grotesque henchman character named "Hulk" didn't have anything over some of the women in terms of looks.
Strange characters, a weird cast and campy storyline makes for a film worth seeing, but not one to frit if missed.
