Ho-hum I’d have say this is the least exciting workout I’ve had to encounter. Powercise at Elaine Powers would provide more sweat. I feel like I did when I watched Gail Palmer’s Shape Up For Sensational Sex… less than sensational.
The aerobics gets underway and everyone in this unisex class begins to fantasize about someone else close to them, as the camera zooms in on the tight-fitting danskins gracing the firm young bodies. The fantasy segments come in typical doses, the first involving pretty blonde Desiree Lane and in a lesbian sequence staged in a disco with nightgowns. They embrace each other to music reminiscent of my first elementary school music lesson and the scene is far from erotic, even though it’s filmed nicely.
Another fantasy involves Paul Thomas speaking words that ache to be poetic, but that sound downright stupid. Sorry P.T., we know it’s not your fault. You just had to read the script. The scene itself involves a man getting devoured in an elegant seting by a blonde with no class. You’ll probably want to speed through that one, as well as a boring train segment called “the orgasm express.”
Although Desiree Lane, Tamara Longley and Crystal Lake have steamed up video screens in the past, these women provide little arousal in this boring, standard film. Even at the end of Erotic Aerobics, when the instructor imagines all her students doing it right there on the floor, I looked for eroticism and found little to turn me on. You can 1-2-3-4 right over this picture.
