On the promotional flyer for Bachelor’s Paradise it says, “Rated XXX, Non-Violent,” and that’s true. But underneath that it says “Recommended for Couples.” And that’s far from the truth. None of the qualities associated with a “Couples’ Market” feature – strong storyline and tender, emotional lovemaking – are evident. Even the title itself leads the viewer to believe everything in this video is geared toward male fantasies, and the tape inside backs up that assumption.
Herschel Savage and Steve Powers play two guys who move into a single-apartment complex. They’re not there two hours before Savage ravishes cute newcomer Kimi Gee on the laundry room floor and Powers comes on Kristara Barrington’s face. Doesn’t sound romantic, does it?
Bachelor’s Paradise suffers from often grainy picture quality, but male audiences should enjoy the bachelor-oriented setting and all the raw oral-ladden, wet-shot saturated sex.
What no one should enjoy is this distinctly male fantasy tape being passed off for couples’ consideration. Remember all the fuss over models being on video packaging who aren’t on the tape? Video companies should be very selective when dubbing their cassettes “couples” tapes. The consumer is becoming very wary.
